Dear Parents,

The Chinese School is holding a Parent Orientation at 1:45 p.m. on first day of school, August 20th. We ask that ALL parents (existing and new) stop by the Common Room - the area to the Right of our front desk - for a short meeting with treats and coffee after you situate your child(ren) in appropriate classroom(s).

The goal is to meet our new staff, Board members, PTO President, other parents, and to receive information on our Chinese School.

Thanks for your attention and see you soon!

1. Classes of this fall semester begin on Sunday, August 20th at 1:30 PM. Please try to arrive at the school 10 minutes earlier to avoid the crowd. 6. There will be NO extracurricular classes on the first day of the school— school will end at 3:45 pm.

7. We will continue our volunteering policy this school year. Each family is expected to sign up to be a school volunteer for at least one Sunday afternoon over the course of this semester. The sign-up sheet will be at front desk and we will send you a reminder a few days prior to your duty date. We may do it a little different this year, that is we ask that the parent volunteer to be present at the front desk during class time.

8. I am also attaching the school calendar and registration forms. Please print and fill out the forms to bring to school for registration.
